PAWLISA PROJECT: Training Totals, Jan 2019

I set out this year to accomplish a few major goals. I call this the PAWLISA PROJECT. A year long journey of discovery, discipline, adventure, challenges, goals, successes, failures, experiences and growth for my body, mind and spirit. I’ll be experimenting on myself to find out what I am truly capable of and what I have allowed to hold me back in my life. I have five major categories that I will cover, Health, Lifestyle, Training, Fashion and Reviews. Each month I will post my workout totals. I’ll be writing blogs weekly about my daily life, personal struggles, failures, successes and experiences. I’ll discuss my diet and supplementation regimen, including skin and body care, as well as reviews on my favorite products and workout gear. The goal is simply to learn, grow and hopefully inspire one person to do the same.

In January it was just the build up to my new base/new minimum standard. I’m now fully committed to 2-a-days workout. Which means cardio in the AM and another cardio or strength training in the PM. My goal is to continue to increase my strength and endurance and each month set a new base for myself. Below are my January work out totals.

January 2019

Workouts:53

Time: 50:26:22

Calories: 23,941

Run:37.08 miles

Swim:6,000 yds

Bike:76.54 miles

Yoga:6 classes

Strength:13

Push-ups:2150

Pull-ups:405

This month was not that impressive and I left too much in the tank during my workouts. I stepped it in the second half of the month but know I can do more. My February is off to a great start, I’m looking to double these numbers!
